Description:
Up for sale is an extremely rare cat's eye emerald and diamond platinum ring.
This ring, by far, is one of the rarest emerald you can find. I would describe it as the lightning strike of lightning strikes.
I have never seen such a well defined cat's eye effect in a natural emerald and not in this size either.
One can spend his entire career hunting fine gemstones and never see a stone like this one.

This ring was hidden away for years in a private estate, only to come out to the world this year.

The center of this ring is a natural cat's eye emerald, such phenomena is extremely rare in emerald and almost always very weak.
In fact, I've never see such a defined cat's eye in any of the emeralds or their relatives in the beryl family.

As you can see, the cat's eye is string and clear and the color mesmerizing.
I believe the strength of the cat's eye comes from the high dome cut of the stone. Together with the rare natural formation of the stone along with the expert (and probably lucky) cutting, it brought out one of the finest cat's eyes you can hope for in emeralds or pretty much in any natural stone.

We have this ring sent to GIA and it came back a natural Brazilian cat's eye emerald with F1/Minor enhancement.

As you can see, this emerald shows beautiful clarity, especially for cabochon cut & phenomenal gemstones.
There's one inclusion on the side which blends it well and the rest of the stone shows this beautiful glow of green.

This emerald was certified in the ring since emerald are sensitive to stress, so we will not size this ring either.

The emerald is complemented by fine mixed cut natural diamonds creating a beautiful halo around it while the ring was handmade in platinum.
This ring was kept away for many years, it is presented in very good condition along with the original GIA report.
