Up for sale is a vintage Burma ruby and diamond platinum ring.

This special ring features a fantastic ruby with an intense red color as well as very good clarity.

The best way to describe the color of this ruby is pigeon blood, or vivid to intense red color.

The depth of the red in this stone is amazing and on top of that it fluoresces hot red in the sun.

We sent this ruby to GIA and it came out as a Burmese ruby, heated with moderate residue. The residue is a side process of heating where some of the residue from heating seeps into an open inclusion.

In addition, to this superb ruby, this ring has a big show thanks to the beautiful double halo of diamonds around the ruby.

The ring itself was handmade in platinum and it presented in good condition.

It will be polished like new before shipping.
