GIA certified as a natural Thai ruby with heat only

Up for sale is a vintage ruby and diamond platinum ring.

This ring features a beautiful ruby center with a double diamond halo around it.

As you can see, this ruby stands out well, it exhibits a pinkish/purplish red color which contrasts well with the old cut diamonds.

GIA certified this ruby as a natural Thai origin ruby with heat only, such rubies are very rare especially over 2 carat sizes.

Rubies are perfect daylight gemstones as their color flourishes in daylight (especially Thai and Burma, which stand out the most).

This eye catching ruby is set within a double halo of fine old cut diamonds, enhancing the liveliness and elegance of the ring.

This beautiful ring was crafted in platinum, it is marked "PM" which is a very old platinum hallmark. This marking and workmanship in the platinum go along with the old cut diamonds placing this ring around the late deco to early vintage period.

This rig is presented in very good condition with light wear overall.
