The pearl is on the larger side of South Seas cultured pearls and it shines well. The pearl is near perfect with a few blemishes on the bottom & rear side where they are not visible. The pearl stands out well as it hangs on a 19 inch long platinum box chain. Thsi necklace is well kept overall and will make for a wonderful gift.
