Up for sale is an extremely rare star sapphire and diamond double halo platinum ring.

The center of this ring features a beautiful natural untreated star sapphire with a lovely purplish blue color.

Under certain lights, a clear 6 ray star effect appears on the surface of the sapphire, this phenomenon is known as asterism.

On top of the beautiful star, this sapphire is very clean (see picture 4 and video for pictures with light inside the stone), making it a good candidate as a faceted stone. Such sapphires rarely make it to the market which gives them an additional premium in value as investment stones.

We sent the ring to GIA and the star came back a rare Ceylon origin, color changing star sapphire.

Such unique sapphires are extremely rare, they show 2 phenomena, a color change from blue to purple and a star.

There's no way to top such a rare natural combination is this stone, it is amazing however you look at it.

The amazing star sapphire is surrounded by a double halo of stunning natural diamonds, which add an extra out of this world sparkle.

This wonderful piece was crafted in platinum, and would make an out of this world addition to any jewelry collection.
