This spectacular ring features a unique center star ruby showing one of the rarest natural phenomena - a double star effect.
Star effect, asterism, is a rare phenomena known in rubies and sapphires. It is caused a combination of crystal structure, inclusions and cutting style.
All of the above coming together is a rare occurrence which creates a star in a stone.
A double star is exceptionally rare since the inclusions have to align perfectly in a way that will split the light reflecting back to create a 12 ray star.
